Abstract:
This dataset consists of clipped and rectified scaned images of 1919 maps of the Upper St. Johns River Drainage District (USJRDD). The USJRDD maps were created by Isham Randolph and Co. in 1919 and 1920. The original maps are owned and maintained by Tebeau-Field Library of Florida History, 435 Brevard Ave. Cocoa, FL 32922. The set of scan maps are not complete due to the fact that many maps are missing from the original collection.
Purpose: The scan images are provided for historical information.only.
Supplemental_Information:
The scanned images are in MrSid format at standard 20:1 compression.

In June 2001, SJRWMD hired Greenhorne and O'Mara, Inc. to scan and rectify the available maps. In addition to the clipped and rectified scans which are online, the contractor also provided unrectified scans in TIFF format, and rectified unclipped scans in MrSID format; these files can be found on CD in the GIS CD library of the Integrated Application Services Division.
