In response to growing water demands, water supply problems, and experiencing one of the worst droughts in Florida's history it has become increasingly apparent to find ways to improve efficiency in all categories of water use. Florida continues to grow rapidly and traditional sources of water are limited. Conservation will be an important way to meet new needs while protecting Florida's water-dependent natural environment. Mapping reuse transmission lines will play an essential role in this effort.

This data set is to be used in conjunction with the corresponding data sets for public water service area boundaries, reuse destinations, and wastewater service areas for a complete scope of current water use within the SJRWMD.
