Abstract:

This layer contains the footprints of contour datasets with intervals smaller than 5 feet. Each feature corresponds to one dataset, and some of the features are mutlipart. Fields identify layer and SJR button names. Most of the datasets are based on lidar collections, however a couple of the older datasets were photogrammetrically generated. NOTE: we do not redistribute all of these datasets (see the ExternalDist field in the layer). Some should be obtained from the originating county.

Purpose:

The purpose of this layer is to 1. depict which areas of the District are covered by one or two foot contour datasets, 2. indicate what we are calling each dataset on the SJR button as well as the SDE layer name, and 3. whether or not we are redistributing it on our data download site.
