Abstract:

This is a seagrass coverage developed in Arc Info from False Color Infra Red aerial photography and from 1992. It is of the whole Indian River Lagoon.

SOURCE: The data was produced from false-color infra-red positive transparency film in a 9-inch format, exposed on Seagrass cover was separated into 2 classes. Ground-truthing was conducted between May and August 1992 by using divers towed along transects. Photo-interpretation was also conducted by performed the digitization. This seagrass data reflects conditions existing on the date of photography and is subject to all limitations normally associated with the creation of maps from interpreted aerial photographs.
QA STATUS: Each quad has been through topological and attribute accuracy qa.
DISTRICT COVERAGE STATUS: There are 24 quads in the collection for 1989.
